The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of central Colorado... east central Colorado... south central
Colorado and southeast Colorado... including the following
areas... in central Colorado... eastern Sawatch Range... Mosquito
Range and upper Arkansas River valley. In east central
Colorado... El Paso County and Teller County and the Rampart
Range. In south central Colorado... eastern San Juan
Mountains... Fremont County... La Garita Mountains... northern
Sangre de Cristo Mountains... southern Sangre de Cristo
Mountains... upper Rio Grande Valley... Wet Mountain Valley and
Wet Mountains. In southeast Colorado... Huerfano County and
western Las Animas County.

* Until 9 PM MDT this evening

* abundant monsoon moisture and slow moving storms will bring the
potential for locally heavy rainfall and flash flooding to the
area. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches per hour will be
possible.

* Flash flooding may result in mud or rock slides in the mountains.
The burn scar areas... such as the Hayman in Teller County... will
be particularly susceptible.

* Flash Flood Watch for portions of central Colorado... east
central Colorado... south central Colorado and southeast Colorado... including
the following areas... in central Colorado... eastern Sawatch
Range... Mosquito Range and upper Arkansas River valley. In east
central Colorado... El Paso County and Teller County and the
Rampart Range. In south central Colorado... eastern San Juan
Mountains... Fremont County... La Garita Mountains... northern
Sangre de Cristo Mountains... southern Sangre de Cristo
Mountains... upper Rio Grande Valley... Wet Mountain Valley and
Wet Mountains. In southeast Colorado... Huerfano County and

* From Sunday afternoon through Sunday evening
